I'm Tom. A tutor and marine engineer, with 15 years experience in industry. Much of which has been involved in training cadets, and junior engineers to be successful in their academic and oral examinations.

I have a passion for learning and coaching others to achieve their goals.

Bio

After completing the sea service and exams required for a Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (Unlimited) I have spent a lot of time and effort in training friends and ship mates to be successful in their own examinations. I have taught on Small Vessel Engineering courses at a well known training provider, and now work full time shoreside in learning and teaching.

I am passionate in guiding people towards tackling written SQA examinations on the SV routes and preparing them for their oral exams at the MCA.

My dream is to create an online learning environment for seafaring engineers. Allowing them to prepare in good time for upcoming exams remotely. With high quality learning material.

I have a proven track record of guiding people through their academic written exams, and MCA oral exams. Enabling them to achieve a certificate of competency and secure their dream job.
